This week, my cohost, Ariean is introducing us to Carrie from Lovely Etc. While I’m drawn to her based on her name alone, I became a huge fan when I saw how she painted her plywood subfloors. I mean, seriously, this woman is SO creative! Once you see it, you’ll be begging your husband to rip up the carpet in your living room too. Hello there! I’m Ariean from One Krieger Chick and this week I am excited to share with you some of Carrie’s amazing projects. Carrie is definitely one of a kind. Whenever she links up to our weekly link party, I am always drawn to her projects. She is beyond creative and repurposes everyday items into the coolest new pieces. Her home and projects are so fun and I cannot wait for you to be inspired by Carrie too!

“Hi, I’m Carrie and I blog about creating a lovely home for less at Lovely Etc. While I adore being a wife and mom, I also have an insatiable need to create! I love figuring out how to make beautiful things – even if it means firing up a few power tools. And I am all about finding ways to create exactly what I want for as little money as possible. I usually have at least five or six DIY projects going on at any one time and they are pretty much guaranteed to involve an awesome yard sale find, my trusty jigsaw, or my vast collection of turquoise paints.

I am on a mission to let others know that having a gorgeous home you love doesn’t need to break your budget. (Though it may lead to a paint-splattered wardrobe and out of control desire to find bargains!)
