Chips Made Out Of Pasta

So the basis of this recipe is that you first boil the pasta and then bake it to make it crispy. I decided to use an air fryer to get them extra crispy without any added oil! I topped mine with fresh herbs and parmesan cheese and they turned out so tasty! Serve them with marinara sauce, pizza sauce, or even ranch dressing for a fun appetizer or snack!

I used pasta sauce in the photos, but after taking the photos, I pulled some leftover ricotta cheese and balsamic drizzle out of my fridge and mixed them together. It made a delicious dip for the chips!

Air Fryer pasta chips Tips

Use bowtie noodles

When looking at all the versions of this recipe, many different types of pasta were used. I saw rigatoni, elbows, rotini, and bow ties. I tried three different types and the bow ties were definitely the best. You can have a crispy end crunch and a little bit of pasta texture in the thicker middle. They are also the perfect shape for dipping!

don’t overcook your pasta

Cook your pasta till al dente. If you overcook and then fry, your will be cooking your pasta to smithereens!
